Wuhan Branch Library (WBL) held a conference to discuss the progress of the project. Scientific and technological issues that could affect the major economic and social system were discussed in the conference, “advanced materials and green intelligent manufacture system” was took for example to do the research. Zhiqiang Zhang, associate director of National Science Library (NSL), Fuhai Leng, director of information department of NSL, Yajuan Zhao, associate director of information department of NSL, Jun Zhang, director of information department of WBL, and the team members of the project attended the conference.

In the conference, Yong Wan, person in charge of advanced manufacturing and new materials team of WBL，made a report on the development of advanced materials and smart green manufacturing, the problems and working plans of the current progress of the project.The project is a new capacity-building project of advanced manufacturing and new materials team. New materials team were deeply involved in the field of new materials pilot special, as well as“China to 2050 advanced manufacturing, advanced materials technology development roadmap”, etc, which was the continuation of the work of strategic intelligence research. Subsequently, Yajuan Zhao, reported the progress of development trend analysis of the key science and technology direction for the industry needs.

After listening to the reports, Zhiqiang Zhang pointed that we should fully study and understand the major scientific issues and development directions raised in the “Innovation 2050”report of Strategic Planning Bureau to form a perfect material logic system to solve the problems.
