He was elected director and secretary of WBL in 2002, associate director of National Science Library, CAS, director and secretary of WBL in 2006, associate director of National Science Library, CAS, director of WBL in 2010, vice president of Hubei Library Association,commissioner of the Hubei Information Industry Association,commissioner of Hubei Information Institute, member of IFLA Reference and Information Services Section, etc.

Chen Dan - Secretary（Serving time:2010—）

Member of Communist Party. Born at Yichang, Hubei province in 1964. Graduated from Beihang University in1988. 1988-1994, he served as associate director and cadres of Policy Bureau, CAS and the Joint Office.1994-2001, served as the director and senior engineer of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. 2001-2003, served as associate director of the joint office of the CAS. 2003-2005, served as the associate director of the Academician work Council, CAS. 2005-2010, served as the associate director of National Science Library, CAS. 2010, he was appointed secretary of the Wuhan Branch of the National Science Library, CAS.

Jiang Hong - Deputy director（Serving time:2016—）

Female, doctor, professor. Master Tutor. Deputy Director of Wuhan Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Members of Reference & Information Services Section of Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) , Member of Regional Information Services Committee of Chinese Library Society, Executive Director of Hubei Information Society, Director and Deputy Secretary-General of Hubei Library Society, etc. Over forty projects at the national and provincial level have been hosted and participated in, more than eighty research papers have been published, and four monographs have been published.  

Liu Dehong - Deputy secretary(Serving time:2016— )

Research fellow, member of Communist Party .Born at Xiantao, Hubei province in 1962.Graduated from Wuhan university, receiving a Bachelor's degree in biology in 1983. The same year August, he began to work in Wuhan Library, CAS and served as associate director of Information Development Department. He served as associate director of Wuhan Documentation and Information Centre in 2002.April 2006, he was appointed the associate director of the Wuhan Branch of the National Science Library, CAS.
