Dr. Feng Wei, who was introduced as outstanding personnel by Wuhan Branch Library in 2009, was invited to attend the INFORMS(The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences)2011 Annual Conference, which was held on 11-16 of November, in Charlotte, US. The purpose of the conference was to provide a platform for exchanges and cooperation for the OR / MS field scientists, students, educators and managers.

The thesis “Scientometrics Method Studies on Strategy and layout of Standard System”, written by Feng Wei, was collected by the conference.Through the conference, Dr. Feng Wei understood the international developments in the operations research and management science, and her international academic field of vision was expanded.
